What is your ministry?
My ministry is as an Associate Staff member of the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students. As part of my duties, I speak to Christian Fellowships on the Origin of Life (Creation versus Evolution). I speak to students on the Problem of Suffering as it pertains to the Christian faith. I hope to explore more deeply on the theme of the origin of life.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I hope to grow my skills on how to strategically reach the scientific mind with the Gospel, develop skills in properly appreciating the philosophical underpinnings of science, and grow in my public speaking skills.
What is your leadership role?
I did my undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana after which I worked for a year as a teaching assistant in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Nutrition. I subsequently worked as a research assistant in the Public Health research group of my former department for six months where I coordinated field data collection, conducted systematic reviews, and wrote scientific manuscripts for publication. In terms of my long-term career goals, I hope to become a committed Christian Apologist and a researcher in the field of epidemiology.
