When did you trust Christ?

I was raised in a Christian home and decided to follow Jesus when I was 16. One evening I was in my room and God convicted me about choosing a direction for my life. I chose to give Him the authority over my life and to follow Him.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

My dad and mom have had a huge impact on my life. Through my life they have constantly trusted God even in the toughest times. When my mom was diagnosed with an illness, both my parents trusted God, and were loving and kind. My grandparents, who have been married for more than 65 years, have also been a great example of faith to me. God has also shown me how to work in a secular workplace, how to love people and live the Gospel out.

Why do you want to attend the Forum?

I would like to meet people and I learn from other people who have more experience than me. For me it is also important that every guideline is based on the Bible, as this is what I can pass on to the people I serve. I hope to learn many important things in the Forum’s Bible Teachers and Preachers Network.
What is your ministry?

I am an accountant for a ministry that works with children. I also lead a Bible study group in my church. I also lead the Sunday school and teach children in the church. My passion is to see people growing in love for the Word of God and I want them to see how much they can gain from studying the Word.
What are your past leadership roles?

I started as a volunteer in at the foundation and led small groups for children in the camps. I later became a counselor for this organization.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Many people in Hungary have very strong stereotypes and fears about gypsies. Segregation is really a huge problem. People are judging others by their skin color or ethnic background. We want to raise awareness that Jesus can change such children’s lives and help them to live normal lives.
