When did you trust Christ?

I became a Christian in 1989 through the personal testimony of a friend and after reading “Mere Christianity” by C. S. Lewis.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

After becoming a Christian I discovered John Piper’s and Ravi Zacharias’ books while attending a summer

Why do you want to attend the Forum?

Being at the Forum is so helpful for me because I am now better prepared for the task of being a witness of the Lord in the academic context. The messages at the Forum on suffering have been very helpful for me in order to understand my call and to become ready to accept all the suffering that is necessary in fulfilling my call. I also enjoy connecting with other academics and learning about all the resources that are available for our ministry.
What is your ministry?

I am the executive director of Agora Christi Foundation. Our foundation is developing an apologetics ministry through literature and the arts in the universities of Romania. I am in the process of founding the C. S. Lewis and Kindred Spirits Society in Iasi, Romania. I teach in the Philosophy faculty of the Al. I. Cuza University in Iasi. I am a board member of the George MacDonald Society in England.
What are your past leadership roles?

I have taught and led various discipleship groups. I have organized several C. S. Lewis symposiums in various universities in Romania.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I serve in a part of Romania that has received very little investment. I am a university lecturer, so I am involved in helping students and young leaders to grow to maturity.
