When did you trust Christ?

I made the decision to follow Jesus in the summer of 2010 while attending a Christian camp. It was there that I understood that it was not enough for me to go to church on Sunday or to have grown up in a Christian family. I needed to have a personal relationship with Jesus and to received God’s free gift of salvation through Christ’s death on the cross. That night, I prayed for God to forgive me of my sins so that I could be a disciple of Jesus and serve Him and my generation with all that I have.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

After graduating high school, I attended a Bible school where I was constantly surrounded by other Christians and was able to study the Bible in depth. I did not have a good financial situation, but God surprised me and helped to pay my bills and provided me with food. I even had enough money to be able to travel to a small church in a village near the city to support my brothers and sisters on Sunday. Through these experiences I learned to be dependent by God. By His grace this was a firm foundation for my life as a Christian.

Why do you want to attend the Forum?

I am relatively young. I need to grow as a leader, as a servant, and as a helper. The Forum for me is a gift from God. The Forum has encouraged me to keep going with mentoring and with personal discipleship. Through the Forum I have also made new friends from Albania, Egypt, and Cyprus.
What is your ministry?

I am a worship leader and youth leader. I organize youth meetings and Bible study meetings. I also help to lead a summer outreach camp.
What are your past leadership roles?

My current roles are my first leadership roles.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

Serving God and serving people is the most noble thing. In this culture of consumption, we are investing less and less in things that last. Investing in young leaders is an investment in the kingdom of Heaven.
