What is your ministry?
My ministry is intentionally finding women, majority world Christians living in Europe, and younger leaders to participate in the Gathering and online in the Conversation. These are voices that are not often heard in wider Evangelical circles, especially in Eastern and Southern Europe. My hope and vision for Lausanne Europe is to keep going past the 2020 Gathering and into the foreseeable future. I would love to see further initiatives and Think Tanks around Europe where everybody has an equal voice, regardless of gender, age, or race. Lausanne, as a movement, is a platform that doesn’t belong to a big name –and therein lies its strength. I would love to be part of leveraging that in the future for Europe.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I would love to gain a good, sound biblical framework from which to operate. I am especially excited to read “The 7 Deadly Sins of Women in Leadership” by Dr Kate Coleman and discuss this at the pre-Forum! I would also like to learn how to balance leading in ministry, marriage and motherhood. In terms of skills, communication and especially vision casting would be tremendously helpful for me. Strategic planning would be helpful too. But also, what does it mean to be a good leader?
What is your leadership role?
I am on the leadership team for Lausanne Europe organising the Lausanne Europe 2020 Conversation and Gathering Dynamic Gospel – New Europe (LE2020). I am part of a committee of 5 leading the whole process as well as being in charge of logistics and having a major role on the Communication team. I am also on the leadership team for Lausanne’s Younger Leaders Gatherings where we mentor and minister to Europe’s younger generation of leaders.
