What is your ministry?
My main work outside the church is being the lead dentist for Hellenic Ministries, a Greek missionary organisation. Together with other dentists, I treat many refugees and immigrants while trying to share Christ with them. Within the church context, I have been appointed as the leader for my church’s youth group and Bible study. I also preach in different small churches in and around Athens.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
With CMDA Greece we need to start developing a new vision and to discern what goals God wants us to set. There is a lot of ground to cover and I feel the need to improve in my organisational leadership. I would like to learn to better balance things like ministry / marriage and work / rest. I want to learn to nurture my own spiritual life better. I want to understand when I need to say no to some things, and improve my skills in organisational structuring.
What is your leadership role?
In the last year, I became a board member for my network of churches, an elder in my local church, and a secretary of CMDA Greece. In addition, for about 2 years I have been a leader of a small team that evangelises and disciples people with spiritual interest, with the possibility to start new churches through that effort.
