Christian Ministry – Pastoring / Church Planting
Pastoring and/or Bible Teaching
Krzysztof Wojcik is a pastor in Poland.
When did you trust Christ?
I trusted the Lord in 1983 in Lodz, Poland. I was eagerly looking for salvation in the Catholic Church, but in vain. I prayed for one year, however, the only prayer I knew was the Lord’s prayer. Then my cousin invited me to a Pentecostal church where I found the true way of Jesus.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?
In my early days I watched many abuses in the church. I asked the Lord to help me discern spiritual things and be an observer of His Word. I attended the Theological University in Warsaw. I moved to Gdynia where my theological education was badly received because people were afraid of theologians. It was a moment in my life when I wanted to leave, but the Lord called me to ministry and since then I have been a pastor.
Why do you want to attend the Forum?
I desire continuous development despite being in my 50s. I still have a lot to learn. I also desire to meet other pastors and Bible teachers from Poland and from elsewhere in Europe. Poland is still a very Catholic country and it is good to have fellowship with other believers.
What is your ministry?
I am the pastor of a church. I help people in spiritual need through counseling. I help people understand God’s Word and provide answers to tough biblical questions. I preach and teach the Bible.
What are your past leadership roles?
I was a teacher for the student organization Petra. In addition, I was in charge of the ICI correspondence Bible course in Poland, and a commuter teacher in the Bible school in Elbląg in northern Poland.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I am passionate for the Gospel and ministry. I am committed to spreading the Gospel throughout Poland and all of Europe.
