Ministry Focus:
Disciple-Making Leaders

What is your ministry?

I am involved in discipleship, teaching, and leadership. I am the main teacher in a discipleship programme that my wife and I started in 2018. We train youth to live for Christ, despite all the opposition in the current world. The programme was initially designed to be 12 months for each cohort, but we now extended it to 18 months. In addition, we are planning on starting, God willing, a pre-marital training program for singles. Also, as a Christian physician, I am involved in my national Christian Medical and Dental Association where we are committed to promoting Christian values in the healthcare field.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

By participating in this training, I hope to learn more about practical disciple life, that I can first apply to myself, to be a better disciple. In addition, I would like to gain more skills in discipleship and personal mentoring that I can apply in my ministry and teach others. I believe that a good disciple-maker is first a good disciple.
I would also like to acquire practically applied discipleship abilities in the professional field.

What is your leadership role?

I am the main teacher of our discipleship programme, as such, I have to ensure that each activity is well organised, and that the trainees are receiving a good follow-up. I am the president of the local Christian Medical and Dental Association, my responsibility to ensure that the association fulfills its vision and make the association well known in medical and Christian areas. Finally, I am the ICMDA regional representative in Francophone West Africa, so I am in charge of the existing national associations and oversee the creation of a national association in countries that do not have one yet.
