When did you trust Christ?

I became a Christian in a camp for teenagers when I was 16 years old. One day we were on a hike and the leader asked us to walk on the trail by ourselves. He told us to use that time to be alone with God, to walk with Him just as the two people walked with Jesus on the road to Emmaus. Then God spoke to my heart. I understood who He really is and what He could do for me and my life. I decided to accept Him in my life as Lord and Savior that very day.

What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

I was born in a non-Christian family. That was a real struggle and challenge for me after I became a Christian. What really helped and encouraged me in my growing process were different families from the church, moms and sisters who gave me advice, guided me, and answered my heart’s questions. They invested their time and energy in me, helping me to grow as a godly woman.

Why do you want to attend the Forum?

I believe that God has put in me the ability to influence and communicate very well with people around me. A lot of people have told me that I’m an honest person and, because of that, they entrust me with their children in classes. I know and understand people easily because in my youth I had been through different experiences that now help me to do this. Now I can use these experiences for God’s glory by helping people. My desire is to continue to let God and others invest in my life. My desire is not to bury my gifts, but to understand them and use them for His glory. My hopes are that the Forum can help me in this process.
What is your ministry?

The Regen Foundation is a non-profit organization that works with children, teenagers, and adults from poor villages, coming from disadvantaged environments around Fagaras. We currently have social projects and homework clubs in four different locations. We are organizing an after-school program as well. We are doing the best we can to show people God’s love in a practical way.
What are your past leadership roles?

For 24 years I have led different groups of children and teenagers in different villages around Fagaras, which is the town where I live. For the past seven years I have also been a public school teacher.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I believe I have still a lot to learn from others who have more experience than me. By investing in me, the Forum will invest in my actual ministry.
