What is your ministry?
I am the full-time pastor of a local Baptist church in a small town in Central Poland. I recently transitioned into this role after spending 20 years as a youth worker in Polish Protestant churches. I am also working on a master’s degree in theology.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I believe that I have a lot to learn and need more training and study. I am grateful for any additional training I receive because it will help me to improve my ministry and the work I do as a new pastor. I want to learn how to engage church members to evangelise amongst their peers.
What is your leadership role?
I started as a youth leader when I was just 18 years old. After that, my pastor suggested that I study at a theological seminary. After my studies, I started my pastoral training in the city of Torun, but for financial reasons I was not able to continue and had to find a full-time job. In 2007, I was presented with another pastoral opportunity in another city, so I moved and started my pastoral training again. After three years of training I moved to another city to be a youth pastor; I was there for 2 years. I moved to Łódź, where I have been a youth pastor since 2013.
