Romas Tuominis is a church pastor and church planter.

When did you trust Christ?

I was born in a Christian family and grew up in the church. Even so, it was not until 1989 when I was age 17 that I personally confessed Jesus Christ as my Savior.
What have been the defining moments of your Christian walk?

There are several factors that have influenced my life as a Christian. Firstly, I attended and completed my studies in our fellowship’s Bible school. Secondly, I started my ministry in the local church, where I have had to depend on God daily. Thirdly, I founded several new churches in Lithuania (and to this day I am still the pastor of one of them). Fourthly, I graduated from the Evangelical Bible Institute in Lithuania. By taking a role of leadership at the church, I clearly understand that I must always be learning and be ready to renew my mind.
Why do you want to attend the Forum?

As a leader I want to have a mentor who can give me insights on how I can improve, renew, and change my ministry. My church is also planning to plant a new church, so attending the Forum’s Network on church planting will be of enormous help as we begin this process.
What is your ministry?

I have been a pastor for 26 years. Every day we are looking for opportunities to reach people with different needs. In order to answer to these needs, we have founded rehabilitation and children’s day care centers. Through these ministries we have been able to serve many people. In the future I would also like to focus on training new leaders.
What are your past leadership roles?

In the past I have been the missions leader for the Siauliai region in our church denomination, a teacher at a Bible school, and a member of the board of fellowship of Lithuanian Evangelical Churches.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

In our region the percentage of Christian is very small. I want to reach those who are still non-believers. If my training is supported by individuals, I will be able to do my ministry more efficiently.
