What is your ministry?
OneHope’s vision is to engage the younger generation with God’s Word. Our desire is to affect destinies, not just modify current circumstances. While many of our incredible partners strive to provide children around the world with much-needed tangible resources such as food, water, and clothing, we feel called to devote our resources to providing children and youth with the Gospel message. We believe God’s Word has the power to bring eternal changes in addition to a fulfilling life on Earth. Moreover, we are striving to be innovative and to speak with children through innovative technologies. Therefore, we invest lots of effort into digital evangelism.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
From the Year-Round Mentoring program, I expect to receive encouragement in my leadership role; new skills and detecting and changing old patterns and old thinking that prevents me from wise management of my resources (like time and energy); spiritual renewal in my walk with God, which will influence the way I do my ministry; mentoring and advice from both the speakers and from the other leaders in this mentoring track.
What is your leadership role?
I work in OneHope as the Ministry and Operations Coordinator for Eurasia. I work on developing and distributing evangelistic resources in the region. This includes cross-cultural communication and the ability to find common ground with partners so we can be united in reaching the same goal. My main area of focus is on the younger generation and ways of engaging them with God’s Word. I meet with people from various denominational and cultural backgrounds. We look for different creative and practical methods to interact and communicate with children. Besides that, I am a leader of Bible study groups in my church and do counseling.
