What is your ministry?

I am a leader of a youth organization called Youth Builders. This is a support ministry for youth leaders in Hungary. There are many leaders who serve youth, and there are many organizations that organize programs for teens, but there aren’t many that are behind them as a backstage. We equip leaders, train them, and work with them. We have a conference in cooperation with 11 denominations that has served more than 650 leaders in the last 4 years. I also serve in a church plant in Diósd, where I work as a local pastor.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to learn from the experiences of others and to gain informative knowledge from the trainers. I would like to grow personally with my skills and to read more and gain more knowledge. I would like to find answers to my leadership challenges. I would like to learn more about how to decide between important and urgent to dos, how to lead the team spiritually, and how to evaluate our annual ministry strategy.

What is your leadership role?

I am leading a team of seven people: five are full time and two are part time. I am responsible for strategy, direction, and partner relationships. I plan our projects, lead one on ones, maintain contact with advisers, train and equip the team members, recruit volunteers, and oversee our finances. I write articles about youth ministry. I give lectures about youth ministry at conferences and theological seminars. I lead and mentor other leaders on our team.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I want to learn more about time management, especially making a weekly schedule for the team. I want to learn more about organizational development and developing a structure for equipping team members and for self-education.
