What is your ministry?
Twenty years ago, I was invited to help Cru ministries in innovation, starting a journey across Europe and then worldwide to help others developing leadership and innovation. Fifteen years ago, I was invited to an Alpha conference in London and the next month start helping Alpha International in the areas of innovation and media. Ten years ago, I was invited to help replant the church in which I was member, and six years ago I accepted the invitation to be the senior pastor of the church.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
In my current ministry context, 40 to 60% people come from a Catholic background. We need to know how to present the gospel more effectively in this context. We need good biblical answers to issues related to Mariology and idolatry.
What is your leadership role?
I am the Senior Pastor at EPV Church in Sant Cugat del Valles. I am the Spain National Director for Freedom in Christ Ministries and president of Catalonia’s Pastors Association AMEC. I also serve on the boards of different Christian organizations. I am an advisor to Cru Global Church Movements.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
In the different ministries in which I serve, we usually are in contact with people from a Roman Catholic background. Even though we have some shared beliefs, we have difficulties dealing with the authority of the Bible, sacraments, and other such matters. In other cases, rectors approach us to get training to use our materials in their own context and they try to modify or introduce variations to conform to their own doctrine.
