What is your ministry?
I oversee two youth group ministries. One ministry is in my church but because of Covid, it is very limited now. We are unable to meet or stay in touch with our students. The second youth ministry is my work with CRU. This ministry is more developed and consists of ministry to students and young adults. We are doing ministries like sports outreach, book clubs, and youth groups. We also try to support other ministries around Slovakia.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I think the mentoring program will help me to grow personally and spiritually. I love to learn from new people and from experienced people. I am especially interested in learning what different things people have been doing to adapt to Covid. I think nowadays it is good to invest in people’s individual growth. I have been mentored and have been part of several discipleship groups, so I am very much looking forward to another one. I hope to learn more about the practical ministry that I do, but also to learn some new skills.
What is your leadership role?
I am an elder in my local church. I am also part of the leadership of the CRU organization in Slovakia. I have been doing youth ministry in my church for more than 15 years. I also sometimes preach, and I lead a small group. We try to meet as often as possible, but everything is online these days.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I want to receive advice about the vision and direction of our youth ministry. I am faithful to what our plans are, but I would like to be clearer about our end goals. I want to help the youth to become mature Christians.
