What is your ministry?
My ministry has always been connected to stewardship, organizational matters, or project development and management for organizations. I was the CEO of the European Training Center, an NGO founded by the YMCA. I served as an elder in my church, where I organized events and held financial responsibilities. I started as a missionary among students, where I worked with youth on the local and national level. When I started to work as a Christian minister, I graduated with an M.A. in practical theology from TCMI Institute. Afterward I was hired by the European YMCA to start and operate the European Training Center, which I did for 16 years. I also manage a ministry in Bihar, India, where the Czech church built a school and support mission. I serve as a member of the supervisory board for a Christian school called Noah in Czech Republic.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I would like to be inspired by the mentors, but also by the participants. I want to learn new perspectives on organizational development. I would also like to combine organizational skills with personal growth and spiritual commitment. I hope for inspiration and encouragement that will bring blessings to my colleagues and the entire Czech Evangelical Alliance. I hope to gain skills that will help me be a better support to the CEA leadership, a useful member of the team.
What is your leadership role?
I currently work as the Chief Operating Officer of the Czech Evangelical Alliance (CEA). My job is to set up organizational and financial systems and implement tools to help our ministry be smart and seamless. I prepare annual budgets, plan events, and communicate with donors, friends of CEA, CEA members, Czech churches, and so forth. I work closely with the CEA General Secretary to develop and implement an evolving plan to achieve our goals and run projects. In my service project in India, I am ready and supported by CEA to spend one month in a year in India by serving in a school.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I would like to improve my care for donors. I would like to learn to better plan and manage the growth of my organization.
