What is your ministry?
My main work outside the church is being the lead dentist for Hellenic Ministries, a Greek missionary organization. Together with other dentists, I treat many refugees and immigrants while trying to show Christ to them. Within the church context, I have been appointed as the leader my church’s youth group and Bible study. I also have the chance to preach in different small churches in and out of Athens.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I would like to grow personally in time-management, finding a better balance between family and ministry, especially as I am going to be a father soon. On the other hand, I would like to be more strategic in my actions as I realise my time in this earth is limited. Team-building, disciple-making and perhaps accountability are some other areas where I need to grow as well.
What is your leadership role?
In my church context, I am an elder, I co-lead the youth group and occasionally teach or preach at the church. For the last 3 years I have been the youngest board member in the executive committee of my network of churches and in Hellenic Ministries, a missionary organization with which I work with, I have just been promoted to be the medical coordinator due to my background in the medical field.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I love my people. I want serve them and above all see them come to Christ.
