What is your ministry?

I am a pastor’s wife who serves in various roles both within the church and outside of it. My primary roles are to serve my family and the church body. My husband and I have six children, four biological and two adopted. Outside of the ministry of serving my husband and children, we have an international church where we have Hungarians as well as international students from over 20 nations. We love to make disciples of the nations without even leaving our home country! I am passionate about teaching the fullness of Scripture to the ladies in our church, as well as meeting with them for one-on-one discipleship.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I hope to gain valuable skills in leading women’s Bible studies and women’s ministry. I specifically hope to grow in practical skills, as well as personally in how to better lead in my church. I am beyond excited to learn how to raise up women from the more than 20 nations we minister to, to send them back out into their home countries hungry for the Word of God and hungry to love well and make disciples.

What is your leadership role?

As a pastor’s wife in a church plant, my leadership roles have taken many forms over the years. From leading children’s ministries, women’s ministries, or planning church events and outreaches, I have held various leadership hats over the years. Now that our church has grown, and we have been able to raise up a team of leaders around us, I am able to spend more time pouring into individual leaders as well as other women in the church. I continue to lead the women’s ministry, as well as having a leading role in planning many of the church events.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

I would love to learn from others about how they have led women, how they have learned to love well, and how they have bridged cultural and language barriers. As a women’s ministry leader, I want to build a community of women who love well and deeply, who are rooted in Christ, and who grow in the knowledge of the Word. My hope is that they then return to their home countries and replicate that in places in desperate need of Jesus.
