What is your ministry?
I began my work life as a missionary who lives by faith through the generous support of family, friends, and partners. Fundraising and development, though a vital part of our ministry engagements, became a critical challenge that needed to be addressed. Therefore, in 2016, as a family we registered a business called “Know Travels & Services” to provide travel services, which included air ticket booking, online reservations and bookings for accommodation and travel, and assisting with travel documents. We also provide broadcast services to air programs, consulting, and other general services to our clients. We have successfully featured a nationwide Good Friday television broadcast on three stations in Nigeria. We are currently working towards airing this year’s Good Friday broadcast on three TV stations and working on adding more as the Lord favors us. In addition, we provide humanitarian services for displaced person’s due to the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria. We consult and advocate for micro-enterprises for women to enable them to provide for their families.
What do you hope to gain from participating?
I desire to receive godly wisdom to do business with kingdom ideals; business development skills; best practices in business planning, process, and execution; help integrating my faith and work in business; and successful habits to inculcate in doing business in every sphere.
What is your leadership role?
I am the country coordinator of the Lausanne Movement’s Younger Leaders Generation (YLGen) Nigeria. I coordinate the affairs of YLGen in Nigeria and represent Nigeria in the Lausanne YLGen. We organize and host programs that will help youth to strategically connect with mentors and serve the kingdom in their respectively spheres of influence.
Why should someone invest in your ministry?
I want to develop business skills. I want to learn to prioritize. I want to become better at time management and at balancing family life and business.
