What is your ministry?

I run a restaurant business in Koboko which my wife and I started in 2018 as a mission. Our mission field is to serve Christ through catering with business as a mission as our perspective. We believe in family, spiritual development, and serving through our business and catering events. We supply food to local government programs and NGO training events. Additionally, as part of our ministry concept, we give out Bible reading materials, audio messages, and conduct weekly staff fellowships for spiritual empowerment.

What do you hope to gain from participating?

I expect to develop connections and receive mentorship. I am also looking for help in how to find Christian investors who will stand with me. I want to further develop our catering concepts and to invest in the hotel and tourism sector with a deep understanding of what it means to be on mission for God through the business sector across Uganda, South Sudan, and Congo.

What is your leadership role?

I am the managing director for our business. I connect partners with our vision. I am engaged in the mission and in the spiritual activities of the company, including leading staff fellowships, counseling, and mission-related activities within the community around us. We train deaf teenagers and single mothers to work in our business. In addition, I am missionary working among the refugees through Scripture Union in South Sudan and with Agape International in Uganda. I plan and organize youth conferences every year. We provide our facilities for conducting meetings and trainings for youth leaders.

Why should someone invest in your ministry?

The greatest challenge I face is that 90% of our guests do not understand the concept of running a business as mission. As a result, my sales are lower, and I sometimes take losses due to limited guests or customers. I would like to be more effective in developing management skills, in fundraising, and in improving our marketing.
